Teens & Leadership Summer Camps are full of energy and all the best that Circle Square Ranch has to offer!  Programs are geared towards junior and senior highschool students with epic adventures and life changing experiences. We’ve got amazing facilities for you to explore horseback riding, out-tripping, canoeing, wall climbing, archery, swimming, sports, and much more! You will also have the incredible opportunity to learn about God’s love and to discuss what a relationship with Him could look like.
We also run leadership training programs for teens who are wanting to grow in character and leadership ability as well as to learn how to make a difference for Christ in their home communities.

Designed specifically for high school students ages 15 and 16, LIT equips young people with the social, physical, intellectual, and spiritual tools required to lead well in and outside of camp. The three-week program begins with a week of training on the practical aspects of being a camp leader. This includes activities such as horseback riding, climbing, waterfront, camper care, and how to lead a group of campers with excellence. The second week is an intensive time of learning and development which equips our future staff with a foundational knowledge of the Christian faith that will serve them for the rest of their lives. In the third week, our LITs will be given the opportunity to put their skills into practice as they shadow a staff member during a full week of camp. Upon successful graduation, LITs who are in good standing are encouraged to apply to stay on as staff for the remainder of the summer.

*Applicants must have already completed grade 9 and be either 15 or 16 years old by the end of the calendar year. Applicants are accepted into the program based on their application, interview and references. Confirmation of acceptance will be sent once all references have been received.
Junior Leader in Training or JLIT for short, is our introductory program for young leaders at camp. This is an excellent stepping stone for those interested in participating in the Leadership in Training (LIT) program when they come of age. Focus areas consist of spiritual, social, physical and intellectual development through challenge, instruction, hands-on experience and Bible studies.

The bulk of the JLIT program is split between the barn and the waterfront. At the barn, JLITs will learn what it takes to wrangle at a horse ranch and go in-depth in equine leadership and horse care. At the waterfront, JLITs will learn lifesaving skills as they get trained in the Bronze Medallion lifesaving qualification – the foundation of lifeguarding. JLIT is an excellent introduction to leadership, building a relationship with God, and having a blast at the same time!

Participants of JLIT must be 14 years of age by the end of the calendar year in order to be eligible to participate in the program.
